Insanity Max 30 + Eat to Live Goals

Goals (Oct. 26 - Dec. 21): 

This marks day negative one of my insanity (round 2) journey. I decided to blog my progress so that I will have an easier time being accountable to myself and to the world, and hopefully I will be able to inspire others through this. Since this is the night before I start my 60 day journey, I am going to blog about my goals so I can reflect back when I do finish this program. 

In addition to Insanity Max 30, I am also living according to the book "Eat to Live" by Joel Fuhrman. It is a nutritarian, vegan, whole foods way of life that I have adapted in the last few months. Currently, I am struggling to stay away from unhealthy low-nutrient foods, so for the next 60 days, I plan to fully commit to this eating plan. 

So, without further ado, here are my main goals:
  • Short term:
    • Drink a huge glass of water before every meal and before I go to sleep
    • Pray before every meal
    • Stick [fully] to the nutritarian lifestyle for the next 60 days (no cheats)
    • Eat enough nutritious whole foods to be energized everyday
    • Get at least 8 hours of sleep each night
  • Long term:
    • Lose 15-20 pounds healthfully
    • Inspire at least two people, and my family, to take a step toward this journey
I also want to add that there is no way that I could ever do this alone. I am praying that God will give me strength to wake up everyday so that I can fill by body with nutritious food and glorify him by treating my body the way I should. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
